Also known
as D. Marcs, Mark started making music as a hobby at the age
of 12, using his first Casio keyboard. He slowly progressed in terms of
hardware over the years and continued making music for his own pleasure.
In 1990 Mark joined a college band and played a few gigs, including the
'Rock Gardens in Covent Garden, London. In 1998 Mark accompanied
the pop band, 'T-Shirt to Australia as tour manager. It was suggested
to Mark by others that he should explore and expand his musical talents.
Mark first recorded for Amphonic in 1999. Mark is influenced by Brian Eno, Cocteau Twins, Vangelis, Aphex Twin and other ambient genres. |
